Rebel team to shoot in Bangkok

Prabhas-starrer Rebel, being directed by Raghava Lawrence, will be shot in Bangkok for good effects in action sequences. Tollywood's affair with Bangkok began many years and star directors like Puri Jagannadh frequenting the place to shoot songs and fights.

In the same line, Lawrence also is banking on the snazzy charm of the place to get the right visual effect. His film is action-significant, if not action-packed. Prabhas' tall frame requires a lavish backdrop and the fights will look all the more scintillating if the buildings happen to be high rise ones.

Since it is not the first time Bangkok will be shown on the Telugu screen, it will be challenging for Lawrence and his choreographer to show the same country in a new light.

Meanwhile, the producers are planning to release the first look of Rebel on Prabhas' birthday (Oct. 23).

Prabhas film with Koratala Siva announced

Prabhas’s new film with noted dialogue writer Koratala Siva has been announced.and the movie will go into production from the third week of October. The movie is being produced on UV creations banner and Vamsi Krishna Reddy is jointly producing this film along with Pramod Uppalapati.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this film and two top heroines have been roped in to play female leads opposite Prabhas.The movie will be a commercial entertainer with an action backdrop.

More details will be announced in the coming days. Koratala Siva will be making his debut as a director with this movie. He has worked as a dialogue writer for top movies like Brindavanam, Munna, Bhadra and Oosaravelli. Prabhas is currently working with Lawrence for ‘Rebel’.
